@Martin Alvito. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Your psychological assessment of the negative postings here were both enlightening and profound. I would never have gleaned any of what you told me without you stating the obvious about internet negativity.
As for payment, this is a free forum. No one asked you waste your certainly valuable time to reply to my post. I will bow to your authority as self-designated spokesperson for "the community". I will certainly compensate you for your illuminating and thought-provoking post. Your check is in the mail.
As far as being egocentric and petty, if you had bothered to read the condescending message I was replying to, you would know I was just establishing my knowledge of what the poster was accusing me of being ignorant. I am neither petty or egocentric. I am nice to the people at my business because I value them as people. I do not "have" to be nice to any of them. They work for me and my partners. I'm nice to them because they all have great value to me personally and professionally. I cannot be punished for not being nice to people unless they are punishing me by quitting my employ. I find that people like you who believe that others are forced into good behavior because of situational ethics are themselves stunted socially. Maybe you have anger issues, I don't know. I'll leave that to you, my internet psychologist.
There are two things you said with which I will readily agree. First, I AM a noob here. I freely admit it and it is people like you who make others, especially new posters feel unwelcome. Which brings me to the second agreement.
You said, "This is an anonymous forum. Take away social consequences for rough behavior and people aren't very nice." That statement certainly applies to you, does it not?
